The YMCA is currently taking applications for energetic, confident, and friendly staff to work in the sports department as Sports Officials in Flower Mound, TX. The official is the sole representative at many YMCA games and will call games fairly while maintaining control at all times.

Ideal candidates are 14 years or older, able to lift 50 pounds, and must attend trainings such as First Aid/CPR and Child Abuse Awareness as outlined by the YMCA.

Qualifications

• Communicate with players, coaches and parents effectively.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Strong human relations skills and commitment to YMCA mission.

Responsibilities

• Call the game as fairly as possible and make calls quickly and confidently.
• Uphold the Sports Official Code of Conduct and enforce rules of play.
• Maintain control of games during YMCA activities.
