Job summary

PeerStar is seeking a Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPS) for senior living to provide hope, understanding, and empowerment through shared experience. You will support older adults in recovery and wellness goals, listen, advocate, and foster trust in a personal, transformative way.

We sponsor your certification training; opportunities available for full-time and part-time roles with benefits and a $1,000 sign-on bonus ($2,000 if already certified).

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of and experience in the recovery process from mental health disorders and/or substance use.
• Eighteen (18) years of age and older.
• Have a high school diploma or general equivalency diploma (preferred)
• Has completed a peer specialist certification training curriculum approved by the state Of Pennsylvania
• Criminal History Clearances- PA State Police Clearance, Child Abuse, FBI
