Job summary

Compass Health Network in Missouri is seeking a Peer Specialist to support individuals in recovery on the Integrated Treatment for Co-Occurring Disorders (ITCD) team. Your lived experience will guide participants as you walk alongside them, helping build hope and resilience.

You will work within a person-centered, team-based approach, focusing on coping strategies, engagement in care, and connection to community resources, while contributing to compassionate, stigma-free care delivery.

Responsibilities

• Use lived experience to walk alongside individuals in recovery and support engagement in care.
• Help participants build hope, coping strategies, and resilience through peer support.

About the ITCD Program:

The Integrated Treatment for Co-Occurring Disorders (ITCD) program provides specialized, person-centered care for individuals experiencing both mental health and substance use disorders. Through a holistic, team-based approach, the program focuses on treating the whole person—not just symptoms—by integrating behavioral health and addiction services into a unified treatment plan.

As a Peer Specialist on the ITCD team, you’ll use your lived experience to walk alongside individuals in recovery, helping them build hope, develop coping strategies, and stay engaged in care. Peer support plays a key role in helping participants navigate challenges, celebrate progress, and stay connected to treatment and community-based resources.
