Piedmont Community Services in Rocky Mount, VA, is seeking a Full-Time Peer Recovery Support Specialist for the Pearl Program, which operates a women's recovery residence and assists pregnant and parenting women with recovery and health services. The role focuses on non-clinical peer-to-peer activities to empower health, recovery, resiliency, and wellness.

A lived-experience with substance use and at least one year of personal recovery are required; Virginia Certification is preferred, and

• Must have lived experience with substance use and at least one year of personal recovery.
• Virginia Peer Recovery Support Specialist certification preferred.
• Doula training preferred, or willingness to complete.
• Caregiver experience preferred and valid driver's license with safe driving record.

Responsabilidades

• Provide non-clinical peer-to-peer support to empower women in recovery.
• Support Pearl Program operations, including navigation of prenatal/postnatal care and access to behavioural health services.
• Schedule: Sunday-Thursday; must consent to background checks and drug screening.
