Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalency.
• Personal lived experience with mental illness or substance abuse.
• Clean & valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide screenings to potential program participants identified through SPOA.
• Educate participants about PEOPLe USA and its housing programs.
• Assist accepted participants with budgeting, rental costs, utilities, subsidies, and personal finances.
• Explore housing options that fit participants' financial and personal needs.
• Assist participants in completing rental applications and understanding lease components.
• Support participants in managing the moving process and furnishing rentals.
• Maintain regular contact with participants and document interactions in records systems.
• Attend SPOA and HUD Continuum of Care meetings and other related meetings.
