Job summary

Description

Facilitate evening groups focused on mindfulness, emotion regulation, recovery planning, communication skills, and goal setting

Maintain accurate, strengths-based documentation submitted within 24 hours of services

Guide clients in identifying and practicing healthy coping strategies and problem-solving approaches

Model appropriate emotional regulation, boundaries, and interpersonal communication in all settings

Collaborate with clinical staff, peer support, and case management teams to support continuity of care

Promptly report safety concerns, behavioral incidents, or emerging client needs to the appropriate team lead

Attend biweekly Peer or clinical supervision and participate in professional development sessions as required

Maintain a safe, inclusive, and skill-building group environment

Provide coverage or shift adjustments as needed within assigned client groups or housing units

Requirements
  • Current certification as a PRSS through a Colorado approved training program (STRONG REQUIREMENT)
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Reliable transportation to travel between residential and outpatient locations
  • Basic computer and documentation skills (training available if needed)
  • Strong interpersonal communication, group facilitation, and emotional intelligence
  • Ability to uphold confidentiality and practice professional boundaries
  • Flexibility to adapt to evolving group dynamics and client needs
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in behavioral health, recovery housing, or outpatient treatment settings
  • Familiarity with Medicaid documentation standards and strengths-based note writing
  • Training in trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, or harm reduction
  • Previous facilitation of psychoeducational, behavioral health, or skills groups
