Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Pediatric Oncology to support pediatric patients undergoing chemotherapy and infusion therapy. The role emphasizes safety, accurate medication administration, and coordination with an interdisciplinary team.

The position requires MN RN licensure or MN Temp Permit, BLS and PALS certification, and experience with pediatric hematology/oncology care. Duration is 16 weeks with day shift and 8-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• MN RN license or MN Temp Permit-RN required.
• BLS, PALS, Pediatric Chemotherapy & Biotherapy Provider Course completion within past 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Assess pediatric patients before, during, and after chemotherapy/infusion treatments.
• Administer chemotherapy, blood products, and supportive medications safely.
• Monitor for side effects and adverse reactions; intervene promptly.
• Manage central lines (ports, PICCs) and maintain sterile technique.
• Provide pain, symptom, and supportive care; educate patients and families.
• Collaborate with oncologists and interdisciplinary teams; document care accurately.
