Job summary

Qualifications

• New graduate RN or less than one year of RN work experience is required.
• Current state RN licensure and BLS certification are required.
• PALS preferred upon or within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist fellow caregivers in delivering exceptional patient care.
• Interact directly with patients, families, and visitors to enhance their experience.
• Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.
• Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
• Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care.
• Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and initiate corrective actions.
• Seek supervision, consultation, and assistance when needed.
• Document in patients’ medical records.
