Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Pediatric Emergency care in Des Moines. The role is a 13-week contract with night shifts and 12-hour hours, focusing on pediatric patients and ER emergencies.

The ideal candidate will have active Iowa licensure or compact multistate license, BLS, PALS, TNCC certifications, and prior pediatric ER experience. Travel contract experience and EPIC EMR proficiency are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Pediatric experience within the previous 24 months
• Pediatric ER experience within the previous 15 months
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records within the previous 12 months
• Completed at least one travel contract within the previous 18 months
• De-escalation certificate (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric emergency care and stabilize acutely ill children
• Maintain nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient and family needs
• Holiday work is required, including some summer holidays and night shifts
