Job summary

UW Health in Wisconsin seeks a Pedorthist to evaluate patients and guide them toward the right orthotic, pedorthic, and prosthetic solutions. Work involves collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to plan individualized treatment and a focus on patient outcomes across inpatient and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities include selecting appropriate orthoses and footwear, designing, fabricating, fitting, and modifying devices, and delivering patient- and family-centered care.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a clinical science, biological science, or related field (Preferred)
  • Experience in a healthcare setting (Required)
  • 2 years experience as a Pedorthist (Preferred)
  • Certification by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics as a Certified Pedorthist upon hire OR ability to obtain certification within 1 year (Required)

Work Schedule

90% FTE, day shift position. Monday through Friday scheduled between the hours of 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, no weekends required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.
