Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, NY seeks a BE/BC Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician to join the RFK CERC team. This full-/part-time role offers academic appointment with salary range $200,000–$240,000 based on rank, and opportunities for bonuses and research involvement.

Responsibilities include diagnostic and treatment services for neurodevelopmental conditions, psychopharmacologic management, teaching, and collaboration on projects within a strong multidisciplinary program.

Qualifications

• Board-eligible or board-certified developmental-behavioral pediatrician (BE/BC).
• Experience in multidisciplinary clinical teams and academic settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic and treatment services for neurodevelopmental conditions (Autism Spectrum Disorder, Learning Disabilities, ADHD, Intellectual Disability, Cerebral Palsy, and other conditions).
• Administer psychopharmacologic management when indicated.
• Collaborate on multidisciplinary teams and special projects (research, QI, program development).
• Teach medical students, residents, fellows, and trainees.
• Participate in RFK CERC and CHAM initiatives and education programs.

About the Division of Developmental Medicine/Rose F. Kennedy Children’s Evaluation & Rehabilitation Center of CHAM: RFK CERC has gained national and international reputations for providing superior diagnostic and treatment services to over 8,000 individuals with the full range of developmental conditions, yearly. Its mission is to serve as the “developmental home” for children with neurodevelopmental and behavioral disorders and complex medical needs helping them achieve their potential while providing guidance and support to their families. Educating the next generation of multidisciplinary clinicians and providing community outreach and technical assistance are other important programmatic goals. The multidisciplinary clinical teams include 12 developmental behavioral pediatricians, psychologists, a psychiatrist, physiatrist, neurologist, special care dentists, audiologists, speech-language pathologists, social workers, occupational therapists, physical therapists, nutritionists, and more. We are dedicated to fostering career development and providing opportunities for leadership and program growth.About the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM): CHAM is a 192-bed nationally renowned academic children’s hospital providing inpatient, ambulatory, and emergency care for children and adolescents. CHAM is the pediatric hospital of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and is part of the Montefiore Health System spanning the Bronx and Westchester counties in New York. Academic rank will be commensurate with experience. Full Time and Part Time positions are available.
