Job summary

Aunt Martha’s Health & Wellness is seeking a Specialty Director of Pediatrics to provide clinical leadership for pediatric services across locations, standardize protocols, and drive quality improvement. The role combines active pediatric practice with executive responsibilities and requires close collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer and Clinical Leadership Council.

Qualifications

Active Illinois medical license in good standing.
Board certification in Pediatrics.
Minimum of two years of clinical experience at Aunt Martha’s or a comparable Federally Qualified Health Center.
Demonstrated commitment to health equity and medically underserved communities.
No active disciplinary actions or unresolved peer-review findings.
Ability to dedicate 0.2 FTE to administrative leadership responsibilities.
Ability to travel to Aunt Martha’s health center locations as needed.

Responsibilities

Develop and update pediatric clinical protocols and standing orders across all locations.
Lead pediatric quality-improvement initiatives and Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnostic and Treatment compliance.
Oversee immunization program standards and reporting.
Represent pediatric services in grant applications and community partnerships.
Monitor pediatric UDS quality measures and lead improvement efforts.
Maintain an active pediatric clinical practice while fulfilling administrative leadership responsibilities.
