Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is hiring a staff nurse to deliver holistic patient-centered care across the lifecycle. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care within organizational policies and collaborate with a dedicated team using state-of-the-art technology. Candidates must graduate from an accredited nursing program; Georgia RN licensure and BCLS required.

Bachelor’s degree preferred; new graduates encouraged. Hospital experience preferred, PRN experience valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients.
• The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
