Job summary

Swope Health seeks a Nurse Practitioner for its Pediatrics Clinic to provide comprehensive primary care, assessments, treatment, and follow-up in collaboration with physicians. You will engage in health education, prevention, and team-based care across SHS departments.

The role requires an NP credential with pediatric/family emphasis, Missouri/Kansas licenses, and a commitment to equity and quality outcomes. Sign-on bonus and strong benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing or Doctoral Degree
• RN license in MO and KS with ARNP license
• NP program in Pediatrics or Family Medicine
• Ability to work with diverse population
• Team-oriented
• NCLEX licensure

Responsibilities

• Conduct health assessments for adults and pediatrics when within scope
• Develop diagnosis and treatment plans with physicians
• Provide health education and counseling to patients/groups
• Participate in interdisciplinary staffing
• Coordinate with SHS departments and community services
• Integrate care in Continuum of Care
• Order/perform and interpret routine labs
• Develop health promotion and disease prevention plans
• Care for complex patients as directed
• Arrange referrals per SHS policies
