Aya Locums has an immediate opening for a locum Pediatrics NP position in Baltimore, MD. The role includes a standard 9-hour shift schedule, a 13-week assignment, and competitive hourly pay between $75 and $90.

The NP will provide comprehensive pediatric care in an out-patient clinic setting, conducting assessments, ordering tests, and coordinating care with physicians. Maryland APRN licensure and national NP certification are required.

Qualifications

• MSN in nursing with NP specialization (pediatrics preferred).
• Active Maryland APRN license.
• National NP certification (AANP or equivalent).
• At least 1 year of clinical experience in pediatrics or related field.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to diagnose and treat medical conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Prescribe medications and manage chronic conditions.
• Provide patient education on healthy lifestyle choices.
• Perform procedures as allowed by state regulations and NP specialty.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers for coordinated care.
