• Subspecialty Interest: Pediatric Hospitalist
• Schedule: 154 clinical shifts per year
• Call Schedule: 40 overnights per year
• Practice Setting: 31 Pediatric Hospitalists, 2 APPs
• EMR System: Cerner/Compass
• Facilities: Dell Children's Medical Center and Dell Children's Medical Center North Campus
• Locations: Austin, TX & Cedar Park, TX

This position is not currently located in a Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA) or Medically Underserved Area/Populations (MUA/P).

Responsibilities

Dell Children's Medical Center seeks an exceptional Hospital Medicine pediatric physician. BC/BE preferred; if not BC/BE, at least 1 year inpatient post-residency experience required.

Key responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients, coordinating discharge planning, participating in quality improvement, accepting referrals, and engaging in academic activities as needed.

• Additional location: DCMC North, opened in 2022, 36 beds.
