Job summary

Healthcare Recruitment Counselors is assisting a physician-owned pediatric practice in the Tampa Bay area. We seek a Board-Certified Pediatrician (ABP) for an outpatient role with a productivity-based compensation model and access to modern technology, including ambient AI documentation.

The position focuses on outpatient general pediatrics, including well visits from newborn to 18, sick visits, ADHD/behavioral care, immunizations, and chronic condition management.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required.
• Board Certified in Pediatrics (ABP).
• Completed a U.S. Pediatrics Residency.
• Florida license preferred.
• Candidates in or near the Tampa Bay area strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient general pediatrics: well visits from newborn through 18.
• Manage sick visits and ADHD/behavioral care.
• Immunizations and chronic condition management.
• EMR with ambient AI documentation; light on-call.
• Build to approximately 25 patients per day.

Practice

• Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM
• Outpatient general pediatrics
• Build to approximately 25 patients/day
• EMR with ambient AI documentation
• Light call: newborn rounding, ER peer calls, and 1 weekend/month (NPs handle most triage)

Compensation & Benefits

• $150,000–$190,000+ total compensation Guaranteed base + productivity
