Job summary

North Texas Area CHC, Inc. seeks a Pediatrician to provide primary care to a diverse patient group in a community clinic.

Under the Chief Medical Officer, you will diagnose, treat, and coordinate care for children across all ages with emphasis on compassion, service quality, and outcomes. You will supervise residents and mid-level staff, ensure timely chart completion, and collaborate on quality initiatives while maintaining patient education and referrals.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with Texas license to practice medicine.
• Board eligibility in Pediatrics required; board certification desirable.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
• Current CPR certification; ability to work with EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Examines, diagnoses and treats Pediatric patients of all ages.
• Refers Pediatric patients to services beyond NTACHC offerings.
• Acts as consultant on Pediatric cases referred by other NTACHC providers.
• Supervises resident physicians and mid-level providers in patient care.
• Completes medical charts and documentation in a timely manner.
• Provides patient education and coordinates referrals.
• Participates in on-call schedule and required meetings.
