Dignity Health Medical Group Pediatrics - St. Joseph's in Phoenix seeks a Pediatrician to join an established pediatric team in a 100% outpatient clinic.

You will provide comprehensive pediatric care, including well-child checks, developmental tracking, immunizations, and treatment of common illnesses for newborns through adolescents. You will work in a physician-led environment, collaborating with colleagues to uphold compassionate, family-centered care and maintain high clinical standards

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• ACGME Residency training completed.
• Active or eligible Arizona medical license.
• Ability to obtain full and unrestricted hospital privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals.
• Team-oriented provider committed to compassionate, family-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient pediatric care, including well-child visits and immunizations.
• Tracking child development and managing common seasonal and acute illnesses.
• Collaborate within a physician-led team to maintain high standards of care for newborns to adolescents.
• Handle night and weekend call coverage, approx 1:5, with flexible 4- or 5-day weeks.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Pediatrician, you will join our established pediatric team with Dignity Health Medical Group Pediatrics - St. Joseph's in Phoenix. This team has provided compassionate pediatric care to our community for over 55 years.

In this role, you will provide comprehensive pediatric care in our 100% outpatient clinic, including well-child check-ups, developmental tracking, immunizations, and the treatment of common seasonal and acute illnesses. The clinic cares for newborns, infants, children and adolescents.

To be successful in this role, you will be a compassionate and skilled Pediatrician driven to make a profound, lasting impact on children's health. You must possess strong clinical expertise in pediatric health and the ability to collaborate effectively within a physician-led team environment. You should be committed to maintaining the high standard of compassionate, family-centered care that our practice is known for.

• Volume: 20-24 patients per day
• Work shift: flexible 4 or 5 day work week
• Clinic: 36 hours clinic and nursery patient facing time and 4 admin hours
• Call: Night and weekend call coverage, approx 1:5

Job Requirements

Required

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
• Completed ACGME Residency training
• Active or eligible license in the state of Arizona
• Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals
• Team-oriented provider passionate about providing quality care and furthering the healing ministry, while serving the poor and underprivileged
