Job summary

Akron Children's Hospital in Boardman, Ohio, seeks a Pediatrician specialized in Emergency Medicine to join the Beeghly Emergency Department. The new physician will care for acutely ill or injured infants, children and teens in a modern 35,000 square foot ED with 23 treatment rooms and close collaboration with the region's level 1 trauma center.

The selected candidate will provide specialized family centered care for acutely ill/injured infants, children and teens in the Beeghly Emergency Department. The Emergency Department (ED) sees more than 38,000 visits annually. Enjoy practicing in a new 35,000 square foot, state-of-the-art ED, that features 23 treatment rooms. Our Beeghly campus ED collaborates with the Akron campus which is a designated level 1 trauma center. Akron Children's Hospital is the only pediatric hospital in northeast Ohio that has its own helicopter and pediatric transport team.
