Responsibilities include vaccines, preventive guidance, and coordinating care with specialists, ensuring accurate records, and delivering compassionate, family-centered care in a busy clinical setting.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of a three-year pediatric residency program.
• Valid medical license to practice in the United States (USMLE).
• At least 12,000–14,000 hours of patient care during training.
• Knowledge of child growth, development, and pediatric health conditions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular newborn, infant, and child examinations.
• Perform well-child visits at recommended intervals.
• Diagnose and treat common pediatric illnesses and infections.
• Manage chronic conditions such as asthma and diabetes.
• Prescribe medications with weight-based dosing for children.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and vaccines.
• Maintain accurate medical records and communicate with families.
• Collaborate with pediatric specialists and supervise trainees.
