Job summary

Avenue 360 is an FQHC serving Houston's diverse communities. Under the direction of the Executive Vice President, Medical, we seek a pediatric physician to provide primary care aligned with our 360-degree approach.

You will examine pediatric patients, document in EMR, supervise staff, participate in quality assurance, and attend internal committees. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires Texas medical license.
• Board certification in pediatrics is required.
• Interest in community medicine and serving diverse populations.
• Ability to relate to culturally diverse patients; bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examin(es), diagnose(s) and treat pediatric patients.
• Document EMR notes and sign off on visits.
• Supervise medical assistants and lab personnel involved in pediatric care.
• Participate in internal quality audits and committees; ensure standard of care.
