Job summary

Pine Bluff Clinic is seeking a Pediatrician to join a dedicated provider team delivering comprehensive pediatric care. The physician will assess, diagnose, and manage health needs of infants, children, and adolescents in a hospital-affiliated setting.

Responsibilities include evaluating illnesses, ordering tests, prescribing treatments, counseling families on prevention, and coordinating care with specialists as needed.

  • Advise patients, parents or guardians, and community members concerning diet, activity, hygiene, and disease prevention.
  • Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients and parents or guardians.
  • Monitor patients' conditions and progress and reevaluate treatments as necessary. Refer patient to medical specialist or other practitioner when necessary.
  • Plan and execute medical care programs to aid in the mental and physical growth and development of children and adolescents.
  • Prepare official health documents or records.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Additional Information: The Pediatrician physician provides health assessment and direct care to pediatric patients as part of the provider team providing services to patients.
