Job description

Job Summary:

At St. Joseph Hospital, pediatrics is more than a specialty—it’s a promise to the families of our community. We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pediatrician to join our collegial, mission-driven practice in Nashua, NH, where you’ll have the opportunity to build meaningful, long-term relationships with patients while enjoying an exceptional quality of life.

This is an ideal opportunity for a pediatrician who values teamwork, balance, and the ability to truly make a difference in access to care for children and families.

The Practice & Patient Experience

Our pediatric clinic provides full-spectrum primary care, serving infants, children, and adolescents with a diverse and rewarding case mix, including:

  • Preventive and well-child care
  • Acute childhood illnesses
  • Chronic disease management
  • Behavioral and developmental concerns

You’ll care for an average of 20 patients per day, allowing for meaningful visits without sacrificing efficiency or quality.

A Team You’ll Be Proud to Join

One of our greatest strengths is our deeply collaborative, interdisciplinary team. Physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and support staff work closely together in a culture defined by:

  • Mutual respect and shared accountability
  • Strong continuity of care
  • A genuine sense of support—even during times of growth and change

This is a practice where colleagues have each other’s backs and where your voice is valued.

A Meaningful Opportunity to Make an Impact

Like many practices nationwide, we are navigating access challenges due to growing patient demand. This presents a powerful opportunity for a new pediatrician to:

  • Help rebalance panel sizes
  • Improve timely access for families
  • Shape the future of pediatric care delivery within the community

Your presence will be felt immediately—and appreciated deeply.

Schedule Designed for Balance

We believe excellent care starts with a sustainable schedule:

  • Four 8-hour clinic days (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
  • One dedicated administrative day each week
  • Shared pediatric call rotation among panelized providers
    • Weekend rotation: Friday–Sunday
    • Saturday clinic hours: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Kinsley Street location)
    • RN triage support serves as first call, allowing you to focus on what matters most
