Job summary

Morgan Dar HR Strategies & Solutions seeks a General Pediatrician (MD or DO) for a physician-owned pediatric practice serving Milwaukee families for over 35 years. The role offers clinical autonomy, a stable patient panel, and a collaborative team culture designed to prevent provider burnout.

The physician will provide comprehensive outpatient pediatric care, work with dedicated nursing and medical assistant support, and participate in regular quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME- or AOA-accredited Pediatric Residency program.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive outpatient pediatric care including well-child checks, developmental assessments, sports clearances and acute visits.
• Manage common pediatric illnesses and chronic conditions (asthma, eczema, ADHD, allergies, mild behavioral health issues).
• Perform in-office procedures (cryotherapy, suture removal, foreign body removal, skin glue).
• Conduct routine newborn nursery rounds at affiliated hospitals.
• Maintain timely chart documentation in the EHR and collaborate with RNs, LPNs, and CMAs.

Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate, board-certified or board-eligible General Pediatrician (MD or DO) to step into an established, thriving patient panel. This opportunity is ideal for either a seasoned physician looking for genuine autonomy or an ambitious recent graduate seeking structured mentorship.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Practice

• Deliver comprehensive outpatient pediatric care, including well-child checks, developmental assessments, sports clearances, and acute/sick visits.
• Manage common acute illnesses and chronic conditions such as asthma, eczema, ADHD, allergies, and mild-to-moderate behavioral health concerns.
• Conduct minor in-office procedures (e.g., cryotherapy, suture removal, foreign body removal, skin glue application).
• Conduct routine newborn nursery rounds at affiliated hospitals
• Interpret diagnostic lab results, imaging, and specialty reports within reasonable clinical turnaround times.

Patient & Family Relations

• Deliver clear, proactive anticipatory guidance, developmental monitoring, and lifestyle education to families.
• Provide balanced, evidence-based recommendations on pediatric immunizations aligned with AAP and CDC standards.
• Establish long-term relationships with patients and caregivers within the local community.

Operational & Team Collaboration

• Maintain timely and accurate chart documentation within EHR system
• Partner with dedicated clinical support staff (RNs, LPNs, CMAs) to optimize daily workflow and patient throughput.
• Participate in regular physician peer reviews and practice-wide quality improvement initiatives.

Candidate Qualifications

• Education: MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Residency: Successful completion of an ACGME- or AOA-accredited Pediatric Residency program.
• Licensure: Active and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Wisconsin, or eligibility to obtain one prior to start date.
• Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) or American Osteopathic Board of Pediatrics (AOBP).
• Certifications: Active DEA license, state controlled substance registration, and current BLS/PALS certifications.
