Job summary

PM Pediatrics in Clifton, NJ is seeking a Radiologic Technologist (X-ray Tech) to support pediatric urgent care with radiology procedures and patient care under physician supervision.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, taking radiographs, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safety and HIPAA compliance. The position offers an hourly rate of $40–$45 based on experience, with potential commuting to Livingston as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduated from Radiologic Technologist program.
• Knowledge of medical practice and terminology, clinic’s processes, and procedures.
• Ability to calmly exercise good judgment in emergencies.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and nonverbal.
• Knowledge of digital imaging and electronic health records (eCW preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative support for providers, patients, and office operations.
• Obtain medical history, patient vital signs, and intake.
• Prepare patients for radiological procedures and take x-rays following procedures for patient care and safety.
• Obtain quality diagnostic radiographs as requested by physicians and clinicians.
• Maintain and document daily quality control of radiology equipment at start of shift.
