Pennsylvania Pediatric Urology Program in Danville, PA, seeks a pediatric urologist for a 100% pediatric practice within a physician-led health care system. The position includes teaching residents, involvement in research, and access to robotic equipment.

Excellent compensation with sign-on bonus, relocation stipend, and training stipends are available for residents and fellows. The role requires MD/DO training with board certification preferred; call is eight weekdays per month plus one

A growing academic program in Pennsylvania is excited to welcome an additional pediatric urologist to their program. The incoming physician will join a physician-led health care system that provides services to nearly 3 million people.

Hospital Highlights

• Hospital is a 500 bed + level 1 trauma center
• Has been named as a top 100 hospital
• Main campus is currently undergoing a major $880 million transformation, including an 11‑story patient tower at the main entrance that will significantly modernize clinical spaces and enhance care delivery. Support delivery of expanded emergency, ICU, and surgical capacity, featuring a new ED that doubles in size with upgraded operating suites and intensive care units adjacent to aid collaborative care
• The hospital offers more than 30 medical residency programs in a variety of specialties, including urology

Position Highlights

• 100% pediatric urology position
• The urology program has more than 20 urologists throughout the system. The pediatric urology department currently has one other pediatric urologist and a dedicated physician assistant
• Call will be eight weekdays per month and one weekend
• The program has robots, though robotic interest/experience is not required
• Urologist will work with and teach urology residents
• Research opportunities are available
