Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and surgical treatment skills.
• Recommends, participates in, and works to ensure cost effectiveness and quality of care.
• Adheres to clinical patient pathways for pediatric surgical medicine.
• Accepts patient referrals and acts as consulting physician.
• Participates in academic programs, rounds with pediatric residents.
• Provides appropriate documentation for insurance company requirements.
• Participates in inpatient and outpatient consultation including on-call.

Education

MD or DO

Board certified/eligible in area of specialty

Eligible for unrestricted Florida medical license and DEA
