Job summary

PM Pediatric Care is hiring Advanced Practice Providers (FNP or PNP) with significant pediatric or urgent care/ER experience to join our team. Under the guidance of the Regional Medical Officer, APPs are responsible for evaluating and providing evidence-based treatment to pediatric patients in an urgent care setting.

This role offers flexible scheduling from 12 to 36 hours per week (part-time/full-time) with no overnight shifts, and opportunities for on-site and telemedicine care, radiology

Qualifications

• Pediatric experience required; pediatric ER, general pediatrics, or urgent care experience preferred.
• Active ANCC Board Certification or NCCPA Certification.
• Active RN and NP/PA state license where treating patients.
• MSN/ Doctoral degree in Nursing or Master of Physician Assistant Studies.
• Minimum 2 years of independent pediatric clinical experience as an APP.
• Ability to think critically, multitask, and work on a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent computer skills and EMR experience (eCW preferred).
• Effective verbal and nonverbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert assessment and treatment of acute injuries/illnesses for in-person and telemedicine patients.
• Perform urgent care procedures (abscess drainage, foreign body removal, wound repair).
• Interpret radiographs with radiologist over-reads where applicable.
• Oversee daily operations and patient flow for in-person and telemedicine visits.
• Collaborate with on-site and telemedicine teams to complete daily tasks and ensure timely responses.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient confidentiality and data security.
• Engage in ongoing training and professional development.
