Job summary

Children's Wisconsin is seeking a CNA to join our Urgent Care team. The role performs clinical duties, rooms patients, takes vital signs, and assists the provider in a fast-paced pediatric setting.

You will report to an Urgent Care supervisor, follow HIPAA and department policies, and help maintain a welcoming, safe environment for children and their families. Experience in customer service and pediatric care is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED/HSED required; Wisconsin Registry registered for Nursing Assistants/Home Health Aides.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program; CNA certs renewal not required after hire.
• Pediatric care experience and customer service background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to CW and Urgent Care policies, procedures, and standards.
• Maintains HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
• Provides care to patients and families to support patient experience promises.
• Performs CNA duties within scope of practice and maintains urgent care competencies.
• Obtains vitals, assists with procedures, and supports providers as directed.
