Job summary

NONPF is seeking a Pediatric Urgent Care Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to function independently within physician directives. The role includes assessment, diagnosis, and management of pediatric episodic illness and injuries in a pediatric urgent care setting.

The APP will perform physician exams, order tests, prescribe medications, document in the EMR, and provide supervision for behavioral health cases under Ongoing supervision with the supervising physician.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or Doctor of Nursing practice (DNP) from an accredited school.
• APRN State of Florida Licensure - active and in good standing.
• Certification by ANCC, AANP, or PNCB - active and in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Acts as resource for patients, families, staff, or groups; provides education and emotional support.
• Develops, implements, evaluates, and modifies a plan of care to attain expected outcomes.
• Ensures the plan guides the interdisciplinary team toward desired health outcomes for patients and families.
