Job summary

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta seeks an Advanced Practice Provider to deliver comprehensive pediatric care in urgent care settings. You will assess, manage, and coordinate care for children and families under physician supervision, with responsibilities spanning exams, orders, treatments, education, and referrals.

Heavy evening and weekend work is expected, with a part-time schedule averaging 20 hours per week at the Cherokee location.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing or higher required.
• RN licensure in Georgia or multi-state licensure via Compact.
• APRN certification by ANCC, AANP, PNCB, or NCCPA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification on hire.
• PALS within 60 days for eligible roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care in a collaborative model for children.
• Perform histories, physical exams, and identify findings.
• Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests.
• Develop pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical treatment plans.
• Educate patients, families, and staff; coordinate referrals.
• Collaborate with physicians and other health care providers.
