Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a pediatric-focused assignment in Canton, Ohio. This 13-week travel position requires 36 hours weekly with 12-hour night shifts.

The RT will perform respiratory care, chest physiotherapy, arterial sampling, and ventilator management, with duties including x-ray review, capnography, ACLS/BLS CPR per guidelines, and collaboration with the care team. Housing and benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) certification and valid licensure.
• No minimum years of experience required.

Responsibilities

• Administers physician-prescribed respiratory treatments using ventilatory and aerosol devices.
• Performs chest physiotherapy, suctioning, oximetry, and capnography monitoring.
• Reviews chest x-rays and conducts pulmonary function studies.
• Assists with bronchoscopy, tracheostomy care, and chest tube placement.
• Operates and maintains ventilatory equipment and documents care.
• Performs arterial punctures and interprets results per policy.
• Provides CPR according to BLS and ACLS guidelines.
• Manages endotracheal tube insertion/removal and ventilator setup.
• Records treatment data, communicates with the healthcare team, and documents charges.
