Job summary

TotalMed RN in Aurora, CO is seeking a Pediatric Travel Nurse to provide care for children and adolescents on 12-hour night shifts. The position runs for 14 weeks with a typical 36-hour work week as a travel assignment.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of acute pediatric care experience and holds BLS and PALS certifications. You will support families, assist physicians, and perform essential tests while maintaining patient comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• BLS and PALS certifications required.
• 2 years of pediatric/acute care experience preferred.
• Pediatric travel nursing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate care to pediatric patients.
• Assist treating physician during examinations and procedures.
• Provide information and support to patients' families.
• Perform physical, medical and diagnostic tests.
• Assess for critical signs and symptoms in pediatric patients.
