Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Pediatric travel nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in Mesa, AZ. The role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience, working 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts. Travel employment with a tax-free stipend and 36 hours weekly schedule.

The Pediatric RN will provide age-appropriate, preventative and acute care to children and adolescents in diverse settings. Responsibilities include assisting physicians, running tests, assessing symptoms, and supporting families,

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Current RN license in good standing.
• BLS and PALS certifications required or may be required before assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide age‑appropriate care to pediatric patients.
• Assist treating physician during examinations, treatments and procedures.
• Perform physical, medical and diagnostic tests as needed.
• Assess for critical signs and symptoms in pediatric patients.
• Provide information and support to patients' families.
