Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Pediatric travel nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in Durham, North Carolina. The right RN should have 1–2 years' recent acute care experience and pediatric skills to support children and families in diverse settings.

As a PED Travel Nurse, you will work 12-hour nights for 36 hours per week, with potential tax-free stipends. This travel position emphasizes safe, compassionate care and collaboration with the treating physician and care team.

Qualifications

• RN with pediatric specialization and travel experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate care to pediatric patients.
• Help patients feel comfortable during examinations and procedures.
• Perform physical, medical and diagnostic tests as needed.
• Assess critical signs and symptoms in pediatric/adolescent patients.
• Assist treating physicians during examinations, treatments and procedures.
• Provide information, education and support to patients' families.
