Job summary

Blackbird Health in Virginia is seeking an Independently Licensed Mental Health Therapist to deliver high-quality virtual therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults. You’ll build meaningful connections with patients and families, educate them, and support engagement in treatment.

Qualifications

• Independently licensed as a LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or PsyD/PhD in Virginia.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with children and adolescents.
• Minimum 1 year of telehealth or virtual work experience.
• Own your own phone, computer, and high-speed internet.
• Commit to a minimum of 8 hours per week during core hours (after 4pm weekdays; 8am–7pm weekends).

Responsibilities

• Deliver individual telehealth therapy sessions for youth ages 2–26 using evidence-based practices.
• Build meaningful therapeutic relationships with patients and families and support engagement in treatment.
• Monitor patient progress against care goals and adjust approaches as needed.
