Job summary

Southern New Hampshire Health is seeking a Pediatric Therapist to join our Behavioral Health team in Nashua, NH. This full-time outpatient, on-site role offers a collaborative, patient-centered environment with a strong referral base and a long-term patient panel.

The position includes a mix of clinical and administrative time, with one remote workday per week once panel is established; NH licensure is preferred. Work shift is Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm, with ongoing training available.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and family therapy for children and adolescents ages 4 and up.
• Provide comprehensive, evidence-based psychotherapy in a collaborative and interdisciplinary environment.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation within the EMR system.
• Collaborate with pediatricians, psychiatrists, school systems, and community partners to support continuity of care.
• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development.
• Focus on intervention areas including anxiety, OCD, depression, and disruptive behavior disorders.
• Contribute to the training of mental health clinicians across multiple disciplines as an important member of Foundation Behavioral Health.

Southern New Hampshire Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Therapist to join our expanding Behavioral Health team. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to work in a supportive, patient-centered environment committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based mental health care for children and adolescents.

Position Overview

As a Pediatric Therapist, you will provide outpatient counseling services to children, adolescents, and families within a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting. This role offers a balanced schedule of clinical and administrative time, a strong referral pipeline, and the opportunity to build a meaningful, long-term patient panel. Once established, the position offers flexibility for one remote workday per week.

Education Requirements

• One of the following is needed: Child and Adolescent Psychologist (PhD or PsyD from an APA approved Program and APA-approved Internship)


• Clinical Psychologist (PhD or PsyD), with child and adolescent treatment experience (PhD or PsyD from and APA approved program and an APA approved internship)


• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (MSW, LICSW) with child and adolescent treatment experience


• Licensed Clinical Mental Health Clinician (LCMHC) with child and adolescent treatment experience


• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience working with pediatric or adolescent populations.


• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic skills.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.


• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.


• All applicants should hold a license in the State of New Hampshire or obtain a New Hampshire License (Massachusetts is optional).
