Qualifications

• PhD/MD or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Develop the skills and knowledge to become an independent scientist.
• Design, execute, and record laboratory experiments, and analyze data.
• Research and improve current methods and evaluate innovative techniques; ensure protocol and assay accuracy.
• Discuss insights about experimental results with faculty and provide recommendations.
• Present research at meetings, journals clubs, seminars, and meetings.
• Draft, write, and edit scientific reports, papers, abstracts, and grants.
• Mentorship of research staff and fiscal administration responsibilities.
• Maintain currency in the field through continuing education and literature review.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with institutional policies and procedures.
