The Department of Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and Mass General Brigham for Children (MGBfC) are seeking an outstanding candidate for a full-time appointment as an Instructor, Assistant Professor or Associate Professor to join our Pediatric Surgery team. This exciting opportunityincludes both an MGH and Harvard Medical School appointment. MGBfC is part of a large network that provides pediatric care throughout communities in Eastern Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire. Our pediatric surgeons provide outstanding clinical care in a highly collaborative and academic work environment that includes supervising and teaching medical students and surgical trainees. Participation in research is encouraged.
MGBfC is the only children’s hospital within Mass General Brigham, an integrated healthcare system that includes 14 hospitals in Massachusetts and New Hampshire with 20,000 deliveries and a provider network of greater than 300 pediatricians.
The Division of Pediatric Surgery at MGH is dedicated to providing the highest level of care, including serving as a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center and a Pediatric ECMO Center of Excellence. Candidates with strong clinical skills in pediatric surgery and a focus on teamwork and family-centered care are encouraged to apply. Requirements include an MD degree, eligibility for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Board certification/eligibility in Surgery, and subspecialty certification/eligibility in Pediatric Surgery.
Academic rank at Harvard Medical School will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, and achievements.
