Job summary

MedCare Pediatric Group, LP is seeking a Home Health Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to deliver one-on-one therapy in children’s homes, fostering communication, feeding and swallowing skills. You’ll work under licensed SLP supervision, building strong family partnerships in a flexible, supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program.
• Current Texas SLPA license or eligible to obtain licensure by start date.
• One year of experience preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply.
• Pediatric experience preferred; bilingual (Spanish) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language therapy services under supervision of a licensed SLP.
• Support treatment plans addressing communication, articulation, language, feeding and swallowing needs.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates with supervising SLPs and care team.
• Assist with implementing individualized treatment plans to support each child's goals.
• Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary team to promote carryover and progress.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Qualifications and Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program
