Job summary

Surpass Behavioral Health is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive evaluations and individualized therapy for children and teens with autism. Responsibilities include developing treatment plans, addressing articulation, language, fluency, feeding and social communication, and ensuring thorough documentation.

Qualifications

  • Requires Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • ASHA SLP-CCC preferred; licensure or eligibility required.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA practices and ASHA code of ethics.
  • Strong collaboration with caregivers and interdisciplinary teams.

What you'll do in this role:
  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and assessments

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for a diverse pediatric caseload

  • Treat a variety of disorders including articulation, fluency, voice, receptive/expressive language, feeding, and social communication

  • Collaborate closely with caregivers and an interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic, coordinated care

  • Work in clinic settings, and potentially in-home or community settings as needed

  • Contribute to client documentation including evaluations, progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries

  • Partner with ABA and behavioral support staff on AAC device assessments and implementation

We are looking for compassionate Speech Language Pathologist with:
  • Masters degree or higher in the area of speech-language pathology or communication disorders from an accredited institution

  • Speech Language Pathologist holding a Certificate in Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) in good standing with ASHA, preferred

  • Current licensure or eligible for licensure for the state in which you work required

  • Knowledge of HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) practices and the ASHA ethical code with strict adherence to these policies

  • Valid drivers license with reliable transportation

  • Ability to move freely, quickly, and frequently from a seated position (on the floor or in a chair) to a standing position as well as the ability to lift items up to 50 lbs. on occasion
