Job summary

Surpass Behavioral Health in South Carolina seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive pediatric assessments and individualized treatment plans across our Columbia, Florence, and Sumter clinics.

You will collaborate with caregivers and an interdisciplinary team, support AAC device assessments, ensure HIPAA compliance, and document progress through evaluations and discharge summaries.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) in good standing with ASHA preferred.
• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of work.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for a diverse pediatric caseload.
• Treat articulation, fluency, voice, receptive/expressive language, feeding, and social communication disorders.
• Collaborate closely with caregivers and an interdisciplinary team for holistic, coordinated care.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.
• Partner with ABA and behavioral staff on AAC device assessments and implementation.

Education

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology

ASHA SLP-CCC certification (preferred)

State licensure or eligibility to practice in SC

HIPAA knowledge & ASHA code of ethics

Valid driver’s license

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
