Job summary

My Kids Place in San Diego is hiring a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat children from birth through 18 years with a range of communication needs. You will document evaluations, develop and adjust treatment plans, and collaborate with families to ensure carryover at home and in school settings.

The role involves coordinating with schools and physicians, managing a caseload with support from admin, and mentoring new grads.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current California SLP license or eligibility for California RPE license; CFs welcome
• CCC-SLP preferred (or in progress)
• Pediatric experience through clinical placements or work
• Bilingual Spanish/English a plus
• Warm, playful, and organized with strong communication with kids and parents
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, if in-home

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat children ages 0–18 with articulation, language, fluency, social communication, and AAC needs
• Write evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and reports
• Coach parents and caregivers to transfer progress to daily life
• Collaborate with other clinicians; coordinate with schools, physicians, and Regional Center as needed
• Manage caseload and schedule with admin support

We're growing and looking for a compassionate, motivated Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate and treat children ages [0–18] with a range of communication needs, including articulation and phonology, expressive and receptive language, fluency, social communication, and AAC
• Write clear, timely evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and reports
• Coach parents and caregivers so progress carries over into daily life
• Collaborate closely with other clinicians and coordinate with schools, physicians, and Regional Center as needed
• Manage your caseload and schedule with support from our admin team

What We're Looking For

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current California SLP license, or eligibility for a California RPE (Required Professional Experience) license; clinical fellows are welcome to apply
• CCC-SLP preferred (or in progress)
• Pediatric experience through clinical placements or work
• Bilingual Spanish/English a plus
• Warm, playful, and organized, with strong communication skills with kids and parents

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay: $48–56/hr blended rate depending on caseload and experience
