Job summary

A healthcare provider in Nevada is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to support clients in improving their speech and mental functioning. Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years of experience working with children using knowledge of treatment practices.
  • CPR and First Aid certifications required.
  • Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and evaluate therapy programs for clients.
  • Perform initial and ongoing evaluations of patients.
  • Maintain records in compliance with standards and regulations.
  • Participate in continuing education and staff meetings.
  • Manage a diverse range of patient personalities.

Skills

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion

Education

Current Speech Therapy License from the State of Nevada
Initial certification by National Board for Speech Language Pathology
Knowledge of legislation and regulations guiding occupational therapy
