Job summary

Mid South Rehab in Magee, MS is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to work weekly consistent PRN with our Rehab Therapy team at a local hospital in Magee, Mississippi.

Responsibilities include pediatric outpatient therapy, with occasional swing-bed duties, and collaboration with the Rehab Therapy team. Applicants must have a Master’s in Speech Language Pathology, state licensure, and CFY completion with nine months supervision.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted professional license to practice.
• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Passing score on the National Board Examination in Speech Language Pathology.
• Completed clinical fellowship year with nine months of professional experience under supervision while employed as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Excellent organizational, time-management, and leadership abilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work 2–3 days each week in the afternoons (1pm – 5pm).
• Primarily provide pediatric outpatient speech‑language therapy, with occasional swing‑bed duties.
• Treat children with autism, speech and language delays, and feeding issues.
• Update parents on home exercises and goals and communicate effectively.
• Collaborate with our Rehab Therapy team at the local hospital.
