Job summary

Middlesex Health in Portland, CT seeks a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to provide quality diagnostic and therapeutic services in a pediatric outpatient setting. This per diem position supports a multidisciplinary team and follows hospital guidelines.

Minimum qualifications include a degree in Speech-Language Pathology and licensure eligibility in Connecticut; preferred experience includes EMR proficiency and 3–5 years of clinical practice.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Speech and Language Pathology.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure to practice in the State of Connecticut.

Responsibilities

• Administers Speech and Language Therapy services under medical prescription in accordance with hospital regulation, state practice act and quality standards.
• Provides pediatric outpatient services in the Mayer Center setting and collaborates with multidisciplinary team.

Position Summary:

TheSpeech Language Pathologistadministers Speech and Language Therapy services under medical prescription in accordance with Hospital regulation, State of Connecticut Practice Act and quality standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Speech and Language Pathology

• Licensed or eligible for licensure to practice in the State of Connecticut

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with electronic medical charting

• 3-5 years’ clinical experience

• Flexibility with scheduling
