Job summary

Middlesex Health's Mayer Center in Portland, CT is seeking a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to administer Speech and Language Therapy services in an outpatient rehabilitation setting under medical prescription.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited SLP program and CT licensure or eligibility; experience with EMR is preferred, with 3–5 years of clinical practice and scheduling flexibility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Speech and Language Pathology.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure to practice in the State of Connecticut.

Responsibilities

• Administers Speech and Language Therapy services under medical prescription in accordance with Hospital regulations and CT Practice Act.
• Provides therapy within the Mayer Center outpatient setting.
• Supports patients with a range of developmental communication needs.

Position Summary

TheSpeech Language Pathologistadministers Speech and Language Therapy services under medical prescription in accordance with Hospital regulation, State of Connecticut Practice Act and quality standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Speech and Language Pathology


• Licensed or eligible for licensure to practice in the State of Connecticut

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with electronic medical charting


• 3-5 years’ clinical experience


• Flexibility with scheduling
