Sunbelt Staffing in Alabama is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a contract position serving elementary students onsite. The role offers both full-time and part-time hours, focusing on evaluating and delivering therapy to pediatric caseload and supporting IEP goals.

You will work with educators, families, and a multidisciplinary team, maintain accurate documentation, and stay current with best practices through ongoing professional development and mentorship from a Clinical Advisory Team.

Qualifications

• Holds current Texas Speech Language Pathologist license
• Experience providing speech therapy to pediatric or elementary-aged students
• Strong understanding of speech and language disorders and therapeutic interventions
• Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Commitment to supporting diverse student populations

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for elementary students
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans targeting student needs and IEP goals
• Deliver direct therapy services onsite, individually and in group settings
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting with educational teams
• Educate and consult with teachers and parents to promote students’ communicative success
• Stay updated on best practices through ongoing professional development
