Job summary

Essentia Health in Minnesota is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate, treat, and coordinate care for pediatric patients across the Polinsky Clinic at Miller Hill Mall and Superior locations. The role involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality therapy and discharge planning.

Responsibilities include creating treatment plans, conducting evaluations, educating patients and families, and handling documentation and scheduling for a full caseload.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current registration/license to practice speech-language pathology in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy evaluation, develop individualized treatment plans, implement evidence-based interventions, provide patient/caregiver education, and discharge planning for a full patient caseload.
• Documentation, billing, scheduling management, and other administrative duties for a full caseload.
• Demonstrate communication, professionalism and supervision of support staff (licensed assistants, aides, volunteers).
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure optimal clinical and financial outcomes.
• Coordinate with Essentia Health leadership and referring physicians to ensure cohesive patient care.
• Comply with organizational policies and code of conduct.
• Meet professional ethics and scope of practice.
• Cover high-need patient areas and flex to other departments when needed.
• May serve as a clinical instructor and participate in department committees.
